Addressing the strategic fraction of the parliament prior
to his vote of confidence on Friday, Mr. Owji said sale of oil should be
focused upon by tapping the potentialities of the capable executives of the industry.
"We ought to use the power of the private sector;
provided that this sector is allowed to step in the projects with support of
the administration and the parliament, great figures will be produced in the
energy and oil sector.”
The Iranian Minister of Petroleum noted: "Another
issue is the task of determining the fate of joint oil and gas fields, which
has not been ascertained in the past decades, and we believe that in this era,
the fate of these fields is to be determined."
Owji said: "With the help of the members of the
Islamic Consultative Assembly, we will solve the problems and political issues
of the petroleum industry.”
