According to Farabi Petrochemical Plant, at
11:20 today (Sunday, July 17), a small fire occurred in the electrical building
(switch room) of the complex which was extinguished with the efforts of the
company's firefighting staff.
After initial investigations, it was
determined that the fire was caused by overheating in the capacitor bank of one
of the cooling tower unit's pumps, and the operation of re-energizing the
transformers and starting the units started at 13:00.
It is worth noting that no damage was done to
other parts and the conditions are completely normal.
