Speaking on Sunday in a meeting with the directors of the Oil Industry
Management Development Center, which was held in the presence of the board
members, executives and directors of NPC, Morteza Shahmirzaei emphasized the
need for improving the quantitative and qualitative level of the directors’ performance,
and said: “Iran's petrochemical industry is building various projects with the
aim of completing the value chain, which will lead to the creation of more value
added in this industry.”
Stating that an agile, dynamic and large company or industry needs
efficient and expert directors, he said: “The oil industry management
development center can introduce successful directors to Iran's oil industry by
using the existing capacities, and a transformative model for education and
training will be provided for the new generation of directors.”
The NPC CEO added: “Today, the petrochemical industry is woven into
the fabric of all societies, and if we want to move towards reduction of crude
sales and completion of the value chain, macro-viewing, strategic and effective
management can realize these goals.”
