Javad Owji, a representative of the 13th People's Administration,
attended the administrative council of Ramshir city on Thursday evening.
He stated that he came to listen to the people's concerns and provide
solutions to their problems.
Owji emphasized that it was their duty to solve these problems. The
lack of investment in land and the current state of lands in Ramshir city were
identified as the main problems. Owji promised to seriously address this issue
with the government delegation.
The 13th government has allocated over 17,000 billion tomans in social
responsibility projects during the past 20 months, including the first and
second rounds of provincial trips.
This amount is more than double the total amount invested in social
responsibility projects during the 11th and 12th governments, which was only
8,000 billion tomans.
Owji highlighted that helping to solve the problems of people living
in areas surrounding oil industry facilities and implementing social
responsibility projects were crucial duties of the industry.
During the two provincial trips of the government delegation to
Khuzestan province, 12,000 billion Tomans were allocated to social
responsibility projects.
Additionally, more than 5,000 billion tomans have been invested in
water and sewage projects, which are essential needs for the people of
Khuzestan province.
The Minister of Petroleum stated that the report on the status of
projects not directly involving the oil industry will be paid within two weeks.
Furthermore, the share of Khuzestan province's pollution duties had
not been paid for several years. Last year, a total of 5,000 billion tomans
were paid to this province, and this year, an additional 2,000 billion tomans
were paid. Owji highlighted one of the Ministry of Petroleum's achievements in
resolving the knots of projects that have more than 70 to 80 percent progress.
He added that the government board decided to allocate over 190
billion tomans for social responsibility projects in Ramshir and Ramhormoz
cities in the second round of the president's trip.
Apart from this budget, the Ministry of Petroleum will also provide
additional resources for these two cities.
The Ministry of Petroleum will equip the Ramshir indoor pool, fund the
construction of medical complexes, provide funding for technical and
professional training of students, and make necessary arrangements to respect
the privacy of oil pipelines for construction.
