The test, coordinated by the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries
Company (PGPIC) and conducted by Rahavran Petrochemical Engineering Company and
Amirkabir University, was held at Asalouye University of Applied Sciences.
The companies involved were Persian Gulf Apadana Petrochemical,
Persian Gulf Mobin Energy, Pars Petrochemical and Hengam Petrochemical.
Abdali Raees, the head of development and planning at PGPIC, said the
test covered 18 job fields at associate, bachelor and master levels and was
conducted in a written, general, specialised and behavioural manner.
He said the candidates would also undergo a systematic interview and
sports and physical fitness tests in accordance with the labour and social
security laws and regulations of the special economic zone for energy in
Asalouye and Mahshahr.
Raees said that in the last three years, more than 200,000 candidates
had participated in similar tests and more than 3,000 of them had been
recruited by PGPIC's subsidiary companies.
