According to the National Retirement Fund for the Oil Industry, Abdul Hussein Bayat, during the 49th session of the fund's project council, emphasized that the average monthly progress of the projects had increased from 1% to 4% over the past 20 months.

He added, "The final products of the Nokhle Asmari Petrochemical project are at the end of the petrochemical value chain and are produced in the country for the first time."

He stated, "The Parafformaldehyde unit of the Nokhle Asmari Petrochemical project, using the spray dryer method, has already been operational since last year and is ready for inauguration. The financial support for the ongoing projects of the Nokhle Asmari Petrochemical project through the investment mechanism of the National Retirement Fund for the Oil Industry is desirable. Timely financial support during project execution is of paramount importance and is the key to the success of projects."

The head of the National Retirement Fund for the Oil Industry emphasized that the Staldehyde unit of the Nokhle Asmari Petrochemical project was also ready for operation at the end of last year. He emphasized, "Staldehyde will be used as an intermediate product in the Pentaerythritol unit. Despite the launch of this unit last year, it was preferred to be inaugurated along with the Pentaerythritol unit in the last quarter of this year to ensure full compliance with safety and environmental considerations, avoiding HSE issues associated with product storage due to environmental limitations."

Bayat stated, "In 1401 (2022), all the executive activities of the ongoing projects of the Nokhle Asmari Petrochemical project were carried out, and all project equipment has been delivered to the site, and the installation process has begun."
