According to the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries
Company, Nouri Petrochemical Company made its inaugural appearance in this
prestigious international competition and impressively clinched the 5 and
6-star awards in the "Digital Process Improvement Tools" and
"Systematic and Digital Knowledge Management" categories, respectively.
This annual competition, now in its ninth year, is organized
by three esteemed international institutions - the Center for Organizational
Excellence Research, Global Benchmarking Network, and Best Practice Improvement
Resource - in New Zealand. It gathers international experts and prominent
industrial companies from around the world to assess and recognize exemplary
practices.
The rigorous selection process began with evaluating
approximately 100 processes from different countries, including Australia,
China, the United States, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, India, the Philippines,
Chile, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Malaysia, Egypt, and more. Eventually,
30 processes reached the final stage of the competition. Among them, the
"Digital Process Improvement Tools" process received high scores
during the presentation and defense sessions, earning it the prestigious title
of "Excellent International Best Practice."
Moreover, Nouri Petrochemical Company's "Knowledge
Management" process, having already stood out above many major global
companies, particularly Saudi Aramco, was selected as one of the top 14
processes in the competition. Following the international jury's meticulous
audit, it was awarded the 6-star recognition as the "Outstanding
International Best Practice," thus elevating the achievement to a level
one notch higher than the "Excellent" accolade.
The final evaluation by the expert jury praised Nouri
Petrochemical Company's activities, hailing it as one of the most comprehensive
management systems in the world. This accomplishment reflects the company's
high level of maturity, proper planning, strong management support, and
effective implementation throughout the organization. The recognition confirms
that the highlighted processes at Nori are indeed excellent international best
practices and can serve as a benchmark and precise model for other companies to
emulate.
It is worth noting that a meticulous six-month preparation
process, including preparing English-language statements for each process,
responding to jury feedback, refining the statements, summarizing them,
preparing reports, and participating in numerous defense sessions in front of
international jurors, paved the way for this significant international success
for the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company for the first time.
The main award levels in this prestigious international
competition include the three-star "Best Practice" award at the
country level, the four-star "Best Practice" award at the regional
level, the five-star "Excellent" international best practice award,
the six-star "Outstanding" international best practice award, and the
seven-star "World Class" international best practice award.
