According to the Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Company, Ardalan
Sedaghatzadeh elaborated on the latest status of the company's projects,
stating, "The Paraxylene unit at the complex will reach the production
phase by the end of this autumn. Simultaneously with this valuable product, we
will also produce reformate."
He added, "By completely resolving the challenge of
launching the tallest all-Iranian petrochemical tower, we will enter the
start-up phase and produce the Paraxylene product by the end of autumn."
The senior official of Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Company
went on to announce the Styrene Monomer project as the company's third major
development project. He stated, "Fortunately, the Styrene Monomer project
has been approved by the board of directors of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical
Industries Group and the National Petrochemical Company, and we are in the
final stages of announcing the project. Contract activities will commence
shortly."
Sedaghatzadeh noted, "The required land for the project
has already been fenced, and according to the plan, we will move forward to
produce high-value-added products in the shortest possible time, creating
wealth for shareholders."
He continued, "The production of Paraxylene and
reformate is both important for the complex, and currently, the increased price
of Paraxylene, along with the production of reformate, will not make a
significant difference in terms of profitability."
The senior official at Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Company
also considered it possible to simultaneously produce Paraxylene and reformate
at this petrorefinery, stating, "Considering the country's needs and
global prices, we have the capability to simultaneously produce Paraxylene and
reformate. Depending on the market conditions, we will manage our production,
and many large aromatic units worldwide also manage their product portfolios in
the same way."
Sedaghatzadeh emphasized that it is predicted that the
company will achieve profits equivalent to the previous year within the first
nine months of this year.
He said, "The production volume of Bou Ali Sina
Petrochemical Company has been on a growing trend in recent years. Last year,
we produced up to 120% of the company's nominal capacity. We will manage our
production based on the needs of Petrochemical Shahid Tondgoyan, in which Bou
Ali is a shareholder.”
