Sabalan, Kimia Petchem Output Rises

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrofarhang Holding announced an increase in production at two petrochemical plants, Sabalan and Kimia-ye Pars Khavarmianeh, emphasizing the priority and sustainability of production as part of the agenda.

Javad Zarepour stated that the methanol production of the Sabalan and Kimia-ye Pars Khavarmianeh petrochemical plants was 119,997 tons in the month of Mordad this year, and it has increased to 277,143 tons in Mehr.

He mentioned, "The increase and sustainability of production are prioritized, taking into account the concerns of the Minister of Education, as well as the Cultural Heritage Reserve Fund's focus on increasing production, profitability, and avoiding losses."

Zarepour added, "Sabalan Petrochemical's methanol production in Mordad was 83,943 tons with 56% capacity, and it reached 131,979 tons in Shahrivar with 88% capacity, and in Mehr, it reached 145,114 tons with 97% capacity."

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrofarhang Holding further stated, "Kimia-ye Pars Khavarmianeh Petrochemical's production in Mordad was 54,168 tons with 36% capacity, in Shahrivar, it reached 88,700 tons with 59% capacity, and in Mehr, it was 132,129 tons with 88% capacity."

This increase in production at Sabalan and Kimia-ye Pars Khavarmianeh petrochemical plants reflects a commitment to bolster Iran's petrochemical industry and meet the nation's economic and industrial goals.
