TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Piling operations for the Almas Mahshahr mega petrochemical project have commenced at the Olefin site within the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.

According to a report by Nipna, quoting Almas Mahshahr Petrochemical Company, following the completion of geotechnical studies at the olefin site, the initial phase of executive activities, encompassing the piling operations for non-industrial structures (warehouses, central workshops, clinics, and fire stations), as well as storage tanks (for feedstock and products), has been initiated.

The piling operations at the olefin site are expected to include approximately 9,000 piling points, with the total length of the piles exceeding 20 kilometers.

With the commencement of piling operations, the construction of foundations and the subsequent development of extensive industrial structures at Site 3 within the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone are anticipated to begin shortly.
