Mohsen Avazdokht, the Social Advisor to the CEO
and Head of the Secretariat for Social Responsibility at the National
Petrochemical Company (NPC), highlighted the need for a comprehensive analysis
and identification of the requirements and priorities of diverse regions for
more effective and impactful social responsibilities in the communities
surrounding the country's petrochemical industry.
Avazdokht emphasized that the targeted and
cohesive implementation of social responsibilities would lead to balanced
development in the vicinity of the nation's petrochemical complexes. He pointed
out that transparent reporting of undertaken initiatives could contribute to
desirable awareness.
In this session, the CEO of the Special Economic
Zone for Petrochemicals presented a report on the recent activities in the region,
announcing a projected budget of 785 billion Iranian rials for social
responsibilities in the petrochemical industry in the year 1403.
Furthermore, the CEO of the Special Economic
Energy Zone of Pars provided insights into the activities carried out in the
Asalouyeh region, disclosing a forecasted budget of 750 billion Iranian rials
for social responsibilities in the coming year.
It was decided during the session that the final
decision on determining the budget and projected figures would be made in the
next meeting.
The fifth session of the Supreme Council for the
Social Responsibility of the Petrochemical Industry was attended by executives
from the strategic councils of Asalouyeh and Mahshahr regions, as well as
managers responsible for social responsibilities in petrochemical holdings.
