Speaking at the 18th Iranplast International Exhibition, Gholami
highlighted the role of the exhibition in advancing key objectives and
completing the petrochemical value chain. He noted that while downstream
industries are agile and can significantly contribute to the production of new
grades, Iranplast offers a unique opportunity for these industries to connect
with petrochemical companies and address their needs.
Gholami remarked that the annual event reflects its proven success
from previous years, offering a venue where petrochemical producers can
directly engage with end-users, leading to active collaboration and
problem-solving. He also pointed out that Iranplast serves as a specialized
space for cultural and academic engagement, allowing students to observe
industry processes and understand concepts like avoiding raw material sales,
which can significantly impact industry development.
Regarding this year's exhibition, Gholami observed a notable increase
in interest from downstream industries compared to previous years. He
emphasized that Iranplast consistently delivers significant achievements, such
as the unveiling of new grades by petrochemical complexes that cater to
downstream needs. The exhibition initiates many of the essential needs assessments,
resulting in products tailored to the requirements of downstream industries.
This extensive interaction between downstream industries and petrochemical
complexes enhances mutual awareness and benefits.
The 18th Iranplast International Exhibition, featuring 288 foreign and
525 domestic companies, is being held from September 8 to 11 at the Tehran
International Fairgrounds.
