TEHRAN (NIPNA) - Iran’s Deputy Petroleum Minister and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, Morteza Shahmirzaei, offered his condolences following the death of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, describing him as a key figure in the global resistance movement.

In a message on Saturday, Shahmirzaei praised Nasrallah’s lifetime of struggle against global arrogance, highlighting his close collaboration with the late Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. Shahmirzaei called Nasrallah a "shining example" of devotion to jihad in the path of God, stressing that his martyrdom was the ultimate reward for his years of service.

"Years of sincere and courageous resistance alongside Haj Qassem Soleimani in the battlefields against global arrogance have reunited him with his fallen comrades," Shahmirzaei stated, emphasizing that Nasrallah’s legacy would live on, and that those responsible for his death would face severe retribution.

He reiterated that Nasrallah’s martyrdom would not halt the resistance but would instead strengthen it. "The hands that spilled his blood and that of his comrades will face severe consequences," he said, adding that the fight against global oppression would continue with renewed determination.

Shahmirzaei concluded his message by offering his condolences to Iran’s Supreme Leader, the people of Iran and Lebanon, and Nasrallah’s family. He also called for strength to continue the path of resistance, which he declared to be the road to victory.
