Local Leaders Push for Progress
Assadollah Cheraghi, a parliamentarian representing Dehloran and neighboring areas, described the complex as a “national asset” with immense economic and employment potential. “We are committed to overcoming the obstacles and ensuring the project's successful completion,” he said, adding that feedstock issues for the NGL unit must also be resolved.

Regional Economic Impact
Shahriar Abbasi, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs in Ilam, emphasized the transformative impact of the project on the local economy. “This initiative is critical for creating sustainable jobs and enhancing economic prospects in the region,” he stated, underscoring the need to complete the Dehloran petrochemical and NGL units.

A Renewed Drive for Completion
The visit by NPC officials, accompanied by national and local leaders, underscores a collective determination to revive the Dehloran Petrochemical Complex. This collaborative effort is expected to address lingering issues and inject new energy into the project, fostering economic growth and employment opportunities in Ilam Province.
