Speaking at a ceremony marking the appointment of new managers for
NPC’s Project Management and Energy Optimization divisions, Abbaszadeh
highlighted NPC’s role as a facilitator and supporter to ensure projects are
completed on schedule.
“NPC oversees the progress of petrochemical projects, identifying and
addressing obstacles to ensure timely execution. Our managers and staff are
committed to supporting all industry players to accelerate development and
foster growth in this value-creating sector,” Abbaszadeh said.
He stressed that ongoing managerial changes aim to enhance performance
and operations. “Projects must advance as planned, gradually moving toward
completion and production phases. Appointing project managers from within NPC
promotes cohesion and positive collaboration among industry stakeholders.”
Abbaszadeh also underscored the pivotal role of energy optimization
management in addressing the country’s energy imbalance. “The newly established
Energy Optimization Management division, led by Mr. Ashrafi-Shahri, has already
delivered significant achievements in improving energy efficiency within the
petrochemical industry,” he noted.
During the event, outgoing managers Ahmad Shokri and Morteza
Ashrafi-Shahri reflected on their contributions and extended best wishes to
their successors. New appointees Ahmad Jalilian-Fard and Ali Rabani outlined
their plans for advancing project management and energy optimization efforts.
In closing, Abbaszadeh honored Shokri and Ashrafi-Shahri with plaques
of appreciation for their service, reaffirming NPC’s commitment to fostering
innovation and operational excellence across the petrochemical sector.
