New Head of Abadan Petchem Plant Appointed

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Mohammad Reza Khosravi has been appointed as the caretaker of Abadan Petrochemical Company, according to an announcement from the public relations department of Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Company (TAPPICO).

Khosravi, who has two decades of experience in the petrochemical industry, was appointed by Abdolkarim Pahlavani, the CEO of TAPPICO.

He holds a degree in chemical engineering with a specialization in petrochemical industries from the Petroleum University of Technology. Khosravi has previously held key positions at Arvand Petrochemical Complex, including factory manager, operations manager, and head of the complex.

In his appointment letter, it was stated: "Given your commitment, expertise, experience, and abilities, you have been appointed as the caretaker of Abadan Petrochemical Company. It is expected that, in coordination with the Board of Directors, you will work towards achieving the goals outlined in the company’s statutes and in compliance with commercial laws and their amendments, ensuring the company’s benefit and well-being."

The letter further wished Khosravi success in utilizing his organizational commitment, creativity, teamwork, and adherence to the company’s goals and policies.
