According to a report by NIPNA, the taskforce, which includes
officials from the Ministry of Oil and its subsidiaries, met this morning
(Saturday, Feb 24) at the headquarters of the National Petrochemical Company,
with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Oil and the CEO of the
National Petrochemical Company.
Hassan Abbaszadeh, during the session, highlighted the critical role
of transparency and efforts to enhance performance in the development and
progress of the oil sector. He emphasized that the National Petrochemical
Company is fully committed to cooperation and interaction with other entities
involved in this initiative.
The session also saw input from several prominent figures, including
Masoud Rahimi, Director-General of Inspection, Performance Supervision, and
Complaints Handling at the Ministry of Oil; Hamed Hashemi Malayeri,
Director-General of Information Technology Development, Security, and Smart
Government at the Ministry of Oil; and Behzad Shamsi, Acting Director-General
of Auditing and Corporate Affairs at the Ministry of Oil. Various other
managers from the Ministry and affiliated companies also shared their
perspectives and views during the meeting.
This gathering marks a continued effort to foster an environment of
transparency and efficiency within Iran's oil industry, aiming to ensure
sustainable development free from corruption.
