Speaking to NIPNA on the sidelines of the 7th Iran Expo, Ambassador
Mohamed Kaboré stated that the exhibition has provided a valuable platform for
expanding economic engagement between Iran and African nations.
“We are looking to build partnerships with Iranian companies in the
petrochemical industry and hope to expand this cooperation in the coming
years,” Kaboré said.
The ambassador’s comments underscore growing African interest in
Iran’s petrochemical capabilities, as Tehran showcases its export potential to
a global audience.
The 7th Iran Expo officially opened on April 28, attracting political
and trade delegations from 111 countries, including 190 senior officials and
more than 3,100 international business participants.
Over 1,000 Iranian firms are exhibiting goods and services in a wide
range of sectors. Key highlights from the petrochemical industry include
products in methanol, urea, chemicals, and polymers. The event, held at the
Tehran International Permanent Fairground, runs through May 1.
